Members read a hotel of letters from front boys, planned October gift showers and early November Christmas parcels, and discussed the forthcoming Kootenay Boundary District conference with speakers from Cranbrook and Nelson institutes. Corporal Lorraine Adair arrived home from the front to a warm Cranbrook welcome, then prepared to leave for Vancouver for further service.
