Fire at Wycliffe Causes Substantial Damage
Fire in the eline shop of Otis Staples Lumber Company near noon led to surrounding structures and yard at risk. Prompt action and a stream of water at 1110 pounds pressure subdued the blaze. The hot box on the fan caused the fire. About $600 damage to building and machinery, insured.
