Salt Beef and Pork Tender Notice and Items for Sale
Notice from the Comptroller for Victualling in 1837 invites sealed tenders for 6000 tierces of beef and 10000 tierces of pork to be cured for Navy stores. Tenders must include separate prices for beef and pork, be addressed to the Secretary of the Admiralty, and be received by one o’clock on the treaty day. Also advertised are banking and commerce notices, wine offers, and assorted commercial goods and services.
