Promotions and Exchanges In The Army From The London Gazette
The London Gazette lists September 7 1852 promotions across regiments. Cornet Easterbrooke Holdsworth becomes lieutenant by purchase in the 1st Dragoon Guards. Lieut Lockwood becomes Captain in the 3rd Dragoon Guards. Cornet Downes becomes Lieutenant. Adjutant Jackson advances to Lieutenant.
