Acquittal of M Leod and Release of Grogan Reported

Telegraphic dispatches from Liverpool note the acquittal of Alexander M Leod and the release of Durfee case co-defendant Groygan. The Agadia steamship arrived off Holyhead with 69 passengers after a ten and a half day voyage from Boston and Halifax. The defense contends M Leod had no involvement in the Caroline affair, while prosecutors detail testimonies alleging his guilt.
