O Connell Returns to Ireland Amid Vast Dublin Welcome
The Dublin Morning Register reports Mr. O Connell arriving at Howth to cheering crowds and a grand reception. Trades unions parade to Merrion Square to present an address and confer the freedom of the union on O Connell amid thousands of onlookers and a formal ceremony.
