Navigation contract for Thames river works advertised

The City of London issues a call for proposals on October 20 at Guildhall to contract for the improvement of the River Thames and construction of the Pound Lock, Cut Weir and Weir works from Moulsey to Hampton. Specifications and forms of proposals available at the Town Clerk’s Office with Holyrood access on Sundays excluded. A monument fund for Lord Melville is also proposed in Edinburgh with a committee plan.
