Boy dies of hydrophobia after dog bite at Inberrow
In Worcester Herald report, seven year old Joan Perks was bitten by a bull terrier at Stoke Wood on October 6. He died the same evening after hydrophobia symptoms appeared three weeks later despite standard treatments. Inquest by Mr Best returned verdict that death was caused by hydrophobia from the dog bite. The boy’s mother was bitten next day. wounds healed but arm pain persisted.
