Admiralty Office Notice of Session at Old Bailey

A session for trial of offences on the high seas will be held at Justice Hall Old Bailey London on Tuesday December 13 at eight in the morning. Also from Deptford Victualling Yard a public sale on November 24 exposes provisions including bread flour and raisins with deposit terms and deadlines.

Appeals Heard In Robertson Duka Athol Case And Seamen Bill Debated

The House of Lords met at 10 in the morning to hear the Robertson v. Duke of Athol and Robertson v. Graham appeals with Sir Samuel Romilly and Mr. Gran arguing for the appellant. Judgment deferred with further hearing set for Monday. Also the Seamen's Bill to encourage and reward petty officers seamen and Marines was read a first time and ordered to be read a second time on Monday.
