Plan for a cooperative society to supply cheap provisions
A proposed society would form 1000 to 3000 members paying 10¢ yearly to fund premises rent and initial expenses. Surplus would reduce prices, with contract tenders from farmers and manufacturers, limited credit to three months, and transferable tickets for workers to buy at contract prices. Initial goods include meat, poultry, fish, bread, dairy, and groceries.
