Unknown Man Proclaimed Before Grand Jury In Blasphemous Libel Case
At the Old Bailey on May 24 the Constitutional Association sought an order to bring a man confined in Newgate for publishing a blasphemous libel before the Grand Jury for identification. The indictment was presented by Mr Murray, and the man, whose name remained unknown, refused to reveal himself. The Grand Jury later discharged after completing their labours.
