Tenders in sealed writing due by Friday the 27th instant with deposits, payment and delivery terms, inspection by appointment, and attendance required for bids. London Gazette May 10 1814 reports that Antwerp and its forts were evacuated by French troops under Paris terms. British 1st and 7th divisions occupied the fortress with military honours, while Mayor presented keys to General Kunigl.
