Courts martial to convene aboard Britannia for Hopkins and Fox

Naval intelligence briefs that courts martial will assemble on the Britannia this morning to try Charles Hopkins, admiralty mate of the Blonde, for officerlike conduct and John Fox, an able seaman, for striking his superior officer on the Blonde hulk in Hamoaze. The Philomel arrived to join Plymouth station, and the Scorpion brought 7000 pounds in silver for the Dockyard and sails to protect Jersey oyster fisheries.
