PPE Commissioners for Victualling His Majesty's Navy invite sealed tenders on Thursday April 4 for one thousand quarters of English wheat weighing 57 pounds per bushel. Sample shown at the Victualling Office Portmouth. Tenders must include price, delivered within one month, paid by bills with ninety days interest. Attendance required to view contract conditions.
The House of Lords granted Royal Assent by Commission to the Prince Leopold Coburg Saalfeld naturalization bill and Clifton Church bill. The Earl of Lauderdale proposed an annuity of 100 pounds for Lady Barlow in the Sir George Barlow divorce case. Viscount Lorrington indicated no opposition though the wife had taken substantial property from her husband. The second reading of Dyott's Divorce Bill was postponed to the second Tuesday after Easter. Adjourned until Monday.
