Notice of Quarterly General Court of East India Company
The Court of Directors of the East India Company announce a quarterly general court at East India House Leadenhall Street on Wednesday March 23 1842 at 11 o clock in the forenoon. A proprietor has intimated a motion on maritime compensation for Captain Cherrette under the September 1835 resolution. Another proprietor may submit a motion at the same meeting.

A London court heard the Greenwich Pier dispute with watermen over nuisance caused by floating debris and rubbish near Pelham Terrace. Exeter Murder Trial Ends in Robbery Conviction
