Marquis at Ancersea Presented in Imperial Parliament
In the House of Lords at London the Marquis at Ancersea was introduced by the Marquis of Lanspawne and the Marquis of Bars with ceremony. He entered with two crutches and sat during the patent and writ reading then took the usual oaths. The Lord Chancellor laid on the table a bill on the pillory and proposals, with observations on codes authorizing punishment. The foreign packet duty bill and others were read a second time.
