Ridgway announces corrected reports of speeches on reform and divisions with plans for circulation. The assembly passes unanimous resolutions urging representatives to petition Parliament and urging public support for the Ministerial Reform plan.
In open court Sir Edward Sugden protested against large skins of parchment bearing signatures to a Parliamentary reform petition left in the Court of Chancery. The Lord Chancellor agreed the matter improper and ordered the parchments removed. Sir Edward left after thanks to the judge.
Paris dispatches relay a letter from Praga dated March 22 describing hard fighting on the 19th and 21st, with Russians repulsed at bayonet point and a temporary truce for burying dead. Polish camp spirit strong, artillery well commanded, and communication with Warsaw maintained across the Vistula. Reports note two Russian generals lost, Diebitsch narrowly escaped, and Polish wounded and prisoners at Praga and Warsaw. No decisive breakthrough by the Russians as of date of letter.
