Parliamentary Game Laws Commitments and Convictions Report

An 1822 Whitehall account by H Hobhouse details England exclusive of Wales from 1815 to February 1821. It lists yearly gaol commitments under Game Laws, counts of convictions in courts and quarter sessions for Game Law offences, and summary convictions before justices including numbers per year 1816 to 1820.

Court sits for undefended causes on Midsummer day

The Court of King's Bench at Wisrunston did not sit on Midsummer day January 2. Lord Chief Justice held a sitting of Nist Prius for the trial of undefended causes and rose at half past ten.

At Brighton on Sunday last the lady of Dr Blair gave birth to a son. At Bist last the wife of J H Merivale Esquire of Woburn Place bore a daughter. At Naples on the 98th April the wife of Charles Selwin Esquire Down Hall Essex bore a son DIED. Patrick Thomson Esquire of Northaw Hertfordshire died in his 75th year. William C A Dent Esquire died after illness at Buchendon Bury, Hertfordshire, at his father's house on the 23d inst.

House of Commons Debates on Royal Assent and Salt Tax
