Belcher and Pritne case on securities held by trustees

In the Court of Common Pleas July 9, Belcher and another as assignees of Mr Maberly contend against Pritne and another. They seek 1000 pounds from securities held by the defendants as trustees of Colonel Maberty the son of the bankrupt. The jury found for the defendants after the vice justice summarized the evidence.

Drysdale parish appointment and Norfolk deputy lieutenants

In Whitehall on July 6 1833 the King appointed the Rev David Buchan Douse to the Church and Parish of Drysdale in the Presbytery of Lochmaben Dumfries following the death of Rev John Henderson. Commissions signed by the Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk appoint Thomas De Grey and E Harbord as Deputy Lieutenants.

Privy Council Meets Over Deccan Prize Distribution

The Lords gathered at Whitehall to hear petitions against proposed Deccan prize money shares from Sir Thomas Hislop and Sir Lionel Smith with reps of Hastings grand army. Lords present included the Lord President and Duke of Richmond as counsel debated assignments and trustee reports.
