Heirs Sought in Adair and Abel Estates in Chancery Notices
The High Court of Chancery issues decrees in multiple causes listing Richard Harvey and others as plaintiffs and Richard Harvey the elder as a defendant. It calls heirs at law and customary heirs of George Phillips and James Abel, late of Ramsgate and Hampstead, to come forward in Chancery chambers to prove heirship and kinship or be barred from benefits of the decrees. Also notices creditors of John Russell and William Nipard urged to prove debts before Masters in London or be excluded from decree benefits. Further references to Edward Poor and others regarding William Nipard and William Marriott estates require creditors to file claims by specified July dates or face exclusion. The notices include addresses at Southampton Buildings, Chancery Lane, London, and list solicitors Crowder Lavie and Oliverson.
