Imperial Parliament Adopts Address to the King in Lords

On January 24 their lordships met at 1:30 pm with prayers by the Bishop of Exeter and oaths for Bishops Clogher Killaloe and Lord Dufferin new Treyland peer. The motion by the Earl of Shaftesbury adjourned proceedings to tomorrow as the deputation carried the address yesterday with notable Lords and officers present.
