Buckingham Marquis and Duke Titles Granted by Letters Patent

Francis Viscount Killmorey receives Viscount of Newry and Marne and Earl of Killmorey. Henry Stanley Viscount Monck becomes Earl of Rathdown. William Viscount Ennismore becomes Earl Listowel. Richard Viscount Mount Earl gains Viscount Adare and Earl of Dunraven and Mount Earl. William Lord Castlemaine is created Viscount Castlemaine.

Law Report Audience in Court of Chancery Case

In Sarvuapar the Court heard appeals from the Vice-Chancellor in the matter of Howard and Gibbs. Counsel argued that bankrupts had a right to influence assignee choice to protect creditors and estate. They cited Leicester Bank as precedent and claimed No improper interference occurred. Further hearing adjourned to four.
