An advertisement for Vanly Vigour by Lucas and Co promotes a medical treatise on male debility and sexual health. It outlines restoration methods, cautions about excess and solitary habits, and offers consultation at No 60 Newman Street London with an 11 shilling fee.
At the vice-chancellors court in Fes on December 12 before Sir K Bavce, Colby v Suotschner sought to charge executors and trustees for loss on a defective mortgage security. Manning claimed fee simple title, but deeds showed he was only a life tenant. hearings adjourned until Wednesday. Counsel for plaintiffs was Mr Roe. defendants were Messrs Boteler Cooper Russell.
