Prince Regent Reprimands Officers Over Challenge Incident

A Royal order from Horse Guards dated April 5 1819 erases Lieutenants Hasker and King from the army list for insulting and challenging their former commanding officer Lieutenant Frederick. Lieutenant Lambrecht on half pay is also named as equally culpable and to be erased. The Prince Regent condemns such conduct and warns officers that future challenges will meet royal displeasure. The Commander in Chief endorses the decision and commends Colonel Frederick for his conduct.
