April Auctions and Military Pay Rates Listed for 1818

Imperial Parliament Passes Longitude and Northern Passage Bill

The House of Lords read the Longitude and Northern Passage Bill a third time and passed it with an amendment from Lord Viscount Melle. Petitions against the Additional Tax on Leather, from York Neingham and King's Lynn, were prevented from proceeding. Lord Lansdown announced an address to Prince Regent and messages of congratulations to Queen and Princess Elizabeth on Elizabeth's marriage, adjournment followed.
