Second Reading of Malt Duties Repeal Bill Tonight
The piece argues against Mr Wisten's repeal bill for Malt Duties, predicting party motives and asserting the public service requires the tax. It contends repeal would not aid agriculture or the community and would shift the burden to a different, potentially unfair tax. It doubly questions a Commons majority enacting an inconsistent policy.
