A detailed sale notice lists tea types and origins, sugar, coffee, rice, pepper, and many other commodities. The schedule covers February 26 to March 27 with items including Havannah cigars, Havana leaf, oils, rattan, shellac, hemp, dyes, timber, silk, fur skins, and numerous consignments from Mauritius, Bengal, Java, and Brazil. broker John Mackenzie at Ingram Court, Fenchurch Street.
There was little business in the Stock Exchange today with no notable features. Consols closed at 90 percent for money and account, Exchequer Bills at 3 5 prem, India Bonds 2 discount to par. Spanish Active Stock 27, Portuguese five per cents 33 44, and the three per cents 234 4. Money in the stock Exchange ranged from 34 to 4 percent, and 4 percent to 4 percent on first rate Banker's Bills.

Mississippi banks face crisis and possible dissolution. Iberia brings Mediterranean mail with dated en route notes. no major news. Arms hidden in snuff boxes seized. authorities act to stop such shipments to Ireland.
Notice reports large consignments of coffee and other goods removed from the docks under bond then smuggled for consumption. Inquiries find the bond parties missing. Authorities warn against evading duties and seek those responsible.
