At Lindenow Court on Friday E P Reeves a Glen Alndale farmer faced three counts on Letitia Smallman aged 14 and one on her mother Mary Smallman. The girl showed 16 wounds and shock while the mother bore six wounds and facial injuries. Reeves did not appear but offered withdrawal by letter. He was ordered imprisoned for two months on each charge with no option of a dose, the sentences to run cumulatively.
