The matter was raised by the Speaker Sir James McCulloch who protested the disruption but the offenders were discharged. In the Assembly on Tuesday night a statement of amounts required to 20th February was laid on the table. Police £35,000 Education £102,140 Public Works £40,000 Railways and Roads £104,000. The total asked for was £537,950. Sir John O'Shanassy and Joseph Jones were the only candidates nominated for Villiers and Heytenberg on Wednesday last. Notice is drawn to the sale of cattle and household furniture belonging to Mr D Arnold Mount Gellibrand at 12 o'clock noon today, W Finnis auctioneer. Mrs Weaton notifies that her school duties will recommence on Wednesday next 26th inst.
