Carlisle River Rifle Club Holds Annual Meeting and Banquet

Members gathered at Carlisle River Hall for the annual meeting of the Carlisle River Rifle Club on Wednesday. Captain Clingin presented trophies, and Mr and Mrs F Armold received a wedding present from the club. The report showed 9 financial members with 4 completing the musketry course. the balance stood at DIG 8. Officers elected included President A K Goddard, vice presidents Vaughan and Clarke, Captain G B Hilhowse, vice-captain P Clingin, Secretary Costello, and Treasurer N S Arnold. A committee and auditors were named, and thanks extended to volunteers who prepared the banquet tables.

NALANGIL Rifle Club Holds Annual Meeting Amid Low Activity

The Nalangil rifle club reported minimal business at its annual meeting last week as only nine members completed the shotgun or musketry course. Lease on the range is up for renewal with rent increase considered, while club funds and trophies faced misappropriation issues. A match at the local school saw Nalangil win 6 goals 22 behinds to nil with Wally Hill umpiring.
