Deputation Urges Removal of Sanitary Site near Water Basin
A Colac Shire Council deputation led by M R Brown W M Pearson and F Parkes asked for the current sanitary site to be moved because of its proximity to the water service basin. Parkes said the trust feared health risks though not certain of contamination. Pearson urged a joint effort to find a satisfactory arrangement while Brown warned the depot near the old site would worry ratepayers.
