Karangi P and C election and school upgrades
At the Karangi Parents and Citizens Association annual meeting a weak attendance led to a push to boost membership. Officers were re-elected, and two new vice presidents were chosen. Successful Street Stall Meeting in Coffs Harbour
A harmonized gathering of local groups convened by the Far West Children's Health Scheme planned a community street stall. Delegates from Boy Scouts Auxiliary, Red Cross, Ambulance, Junior Farmers, RSL, Girl Guides, churches, and pensioner groups agreed to rent and erect a shared stall built to minimum specifications by the Boy Scouts, to be placed before 9 am on opening day.
