Sawtell Diggers Open New Hall and Club Room
Sawtell Sub branch members celebrate the opening of a new hall and club room built largely by volunteer labour. Frank McCristal assisted in the final stages and McCristal Jurr planned and supervised the project at no cost. The hall aims to serve as a social, self supporting venue for the town and Diggers alike, with a complimentary dinner for the Ladies Auxiliary and concert party helpers marking the occasion.
