McPherson Pleads Guilty in Liquor Drive Case at Colts Court
Neil McPherson, 42, timber hauler of Sawtell, pleaded guilty after police found him in a soggy Pacific Highway spot near Coffs Harbour with a lorry off the road. He said two beers blunted him and officers noted wet road conditions and his long clean record as a license holder of 22 years. The magistrate indicated bond modifications may be needed due to rising offences and seriousness.
