Coramba Butter Factory to Install Electric Motors
At the Coramba butter factory annual meeting on Wednesday the directors proposed replacing steam power with electric motors. Chairman G W Hoadhke outlined cost estimates of about £500 for motors and around £410 yearly running costs, with boiler replacement unlikely needed. Directors seek shareholder approval to proceed, noting similar or lower running costs and continued wood supply from the adjacent sawmill.
