The program featured duets by Mrs Cowan and Rev W Ellis, recitations, a humorous sketch The Obstructive Hat and competitions won by Mrs Cowan and Mrs Creighton. A cake by Mrs Powles iced by Mrs Doug Guthrie was cut by Mrs Marindale and pieces given to all attendees. Afternoon tea concluded the event amid abundant flowers.
