A Cobram area deputation to the Yungamah Council urged establishing government yards beside the railway to capture local stock trades. They cited Yarrawonga activity, potential for higher sales, and revenue to cover costs, noting 26 000 sheep and £12 600 in fat lambs yearly through Cobram agents.

The win advances Nathalia to a grand final against Finley.
A Cobram Agricultural Society meeting was held Friday evening. W Ritchie reported. H Johns of a boxing troupe said he would not attend this year's show. The committee left the arrangement of a merry go round to the president and secretary. My Missen agreed to organize a grand concert with the Mechanics Institute and a dance at the concert end. McCormack and G Ritchie supported a goat show and canvassing Katamatite Tocumwal districts. An application to the Unemployment Benefit Funds Council was decided to seek 180 pounds for expenses.
Mr M D ODeger proposed two crop competitions this year with support from several farmers. It was decided to run four contests for best 49 acres, with Mr SH Scott contributing funds for tent pegging. A second prize trophy in military events was donated by the Cobram RSSTLA branch.
