Queenslanders Visit Cobram For Irrigation Study

The Minister of Land for Queensland Mr A James and the Bureau of Land and Irrigation Investigation chaired by J R Kemp visited Cobram during a Victoria tour to learn how irrigation is managed here. They toured Pullar's orchard Craig Dick's property and H Scott's property and expressed strong interest in the light sandy soil of the citrus orchards and their blossom as a potential model for Queensland's water use.
