The North and Sunday services spread across churches include 9 a m at Lune and 3 pm at Strathmerton with Krangeminn and Cobram noted. December items list a Working Bee at the cemetery, the Glenfield Tennis Courts opening, a Fire Brigade Euchre Party, and a meeting at the Muckatah Race Club.

Awards: Miss Lyons won the Christmas Cake donated by Mr N Jordan. Miss Griffin and Mr Colin Barrington shared the Rainbow Cake donated by Ms Bell.
John Lord Stillard longtime Cobram police chief from 1867 to 1900 died at his North Road residence after months of illness. He arrived in Cobram in 1867 and earned esteem as local police head and respected resident. Survived by a widow and children John Anne Henry Frederick Dora Kennedy Frank and Beryl.
The passing of James William Guthrie at age 72 on Monday 14th instant marks the loss of a prominent local figure once a leading Ayrshire cattle expert in Victoria.
