Cobram Special Stock Sale and Severe Storm Hit Cobram District

Cobram McNamara special sale invites buyers to Thursday December 3 featuring 3500 breeding ewes 1500 wethers 600 shorn lambs 20 rams and 000 ex tra good young crossbreds direct from district graziers. A severe Saturday storm dumped heavy rain across Cobram area with 283 points in parts of Southern Riverina causing flooding and delaying haymaking.

Army Dental Units in New Guinea and a Odd Duck Tale

A report to Minister for the Army notes the Australian Army Dental Organisation aids front line troops in New Guinea, often in huts or tents. In one case a officer built a petrol tank hut. The force processed 347 teeth extracted, 500 filled, and 73 dentures in one week.
