Evensong at St Margareta Church Of England on Sunday evening led by Rev L G B Rose. Cobram Methodist Sunday School Anniversary services set for November 18 and 25 conducted by Rev E E Fabb and Rev J B B Longthorn with a cordial invitation extended to all.

Supper followed and dancing continued into the early hours.

The death occurred in Melbourne last week of 74 year old George Hamilton youngest son of the late Bites Siamnition of Cobram. He contributed to local history columns and ran the Berrigan Advocate at one time. Also noted is the passing of George A Bruce of Hazel Deen Savernake aged 66 a noted grazier and rifleman who served in the Boer War and attended Yarrawonga Agricultural Society. Survived by his widow and two children Netta and Robert. Funeral held at Yarrawonga cemetery on Saturday afternoon.
