Justice Martin in Practice Court grants seven day enforceable writ of attachment against James Walsh of Yarroweyah Cobram after he failed to comply with a prior order to pay rates taxes on 200 acre homestead. Applicants Margaret Deagan and two other sisters allege estate duties and family will direct transfer to four daughters including Annie Walsh. Walsh alleged to refuse to pay arrears and transfer property as ordered by Justice Lowe and Justice Martin.
Mr E Danaher underwent an operation for appendicitis at Lisieux Hospital last week. The engagement is announced of Annie McFarlane to Michael Lawlor of Tocumwal. Robert Dunn, son of Chas Dunn, received a fractured rib and internal injuries when a scoop tumbled from a tractor.
