Weather report notes heavier rain in districts

On Tuesday night last week a further fall of rain occurred. By 9 am Wednesday total rainfall reached 79 points, with Lalaly and Barroga districts recording as much as 188 points.

Cobram Football Club appoints coach at general meeting

At a large meeting last Tuesday night Cobram Football Club decided to appoint a playing coach. A preferential ballot chose Mr B Downs of Fysh Creek, 28, 5 ft 9 in, 11 stone, who previously played for Collingwood firsts and eighteens and coached country teams. Training to commence on 16 April.
