Sylvia Muriel Grant aged 18 was found dead lying on the Soar at 7.50 am on Monday 8 March in a room of the Terminus Hotel Yarrawonga where she worked. A maid discovered her. Mrs Kelly the proprietress notified a doctor who found life extinct. Police and deputy coroner Mr A A Manning reported the incident. verdict of probable cause was entered.
