Mr A Gemmell of Melbourne is holidaying with his son W Gemmell. The sudden death of Mr Austin Stringer occurred at Numurkah on Monday after a brief illness. Stringer long served as Numurkah Shire Secretary and was held in high esteem. Mrs Lynn of Melbourne visits her daughter and son‑in‑law Frank Johnson of Cobra wonga. Mrs Johnson, once at Lisieux Hospital with influenza, has been discharged.
