One of the largest Swarthmerton district meetings was held Thursday night to form a Victorian Wheatgrowers Association district council. Officers include President M M L O Dwyer and secretary A Pieroome Strathmerton. Speakers warned acreage based bounties may encourage slum farming. MLA J B McDonald and MLC R Kilpatrick attended.
