Blyth's Beach Drowning Inquest Rules Death As Accidental
At Tocumwal inquest into Claude Munday of Melbourne who died near Blyth's Beach on January 26 the coroner stated accidental drowning. Witness O Weatherill said he saw Munday swim downstream and, five minutes later, tried to reach him but strong currents and river snags prevented saving him. Dr Schlink confirmed death by drowning. Claude Mundy was 35, married, with no family.
