Scots Church notices list services at Yarroweyah and Cobram with Rev. R A Dunkley. Obituary notes Isabella Lindsay Mawhenney of Albert Park aged 87, widow of Mathew Mawhenney, sister of Mary McPherson Margaret Gimmell and Jack.
The funeral for the late Isabella Lindsay Mawhenney will arrive at Numukah Cemetery at 2.40 o’clock on Friday December 16, from the residence at 143 Kertied Road Albert Park. Funeral arranged by Tuttle and Kittle.

Colram Bowling Club hosted a busy week with Saturday Pairs and Tuesday Rinks events. Notable results include Shakespeare and Di i can winning the Saturday pairs final, while Mulcahy, Allen Wright led the Tuesday rink rounds through multiple rounds with close scores.
The Cobram Tennis Club tournament, set for Christmas week, is expected to draw a record field. Melbourne entrants include Sleeman Bros and Burchill among others, with many applicants from Shepparton and towns within 100 miles. Entries close Monday. J Radcliffe and T P O'Reilly are tournament secretaries. Nineteen grass courts are improving with extra courts marked at the Showgrounds arena due to anticipated large turnout.
Murray Valley Coaches Ltd has acquired the Meramie property at 597 Kiowa Street Albury and will convert it to a Travel Lodge accommodation hostel. Renovations include new toilet blocks and a dining room for 50 seats to align with the companys other Travel Lodges and road passenger services.
