Death of Mrs Rebil Ross in Cobram district
The obituary notes the death of Mrs Rebil Ross at 226 Alma Road East St Kilda on Wednesday of last week. She was the widow of the late Mr J. Yiyisa Ross, formerly editor and pastor of the Cobram Courier, who died in 1902. Mrs Ross lived in Cobram from 1807 until 1937 and was active in public affairs and local service. Her remains were interred at Cobram Cemetery with burial service by Rev Foyster. She is survived by children Rita, Alma, Muriel, Ronald, Una and others.
