On Sunday afternoon Cobram Golf Club staged Men's and Ladies Foursomes to raise funds for the Red Cross. Over 80 players competed with a target cheque of about £22. Men’s results included a tie between O'Reilly O'Dwyer and Pullar Cotton, decided on count back. Ladies' winners were Mrs. Jones and Miss Jones with second place to Mrs. O'Brien and Miss Harris. Next Sunday features Men's and Ladies Canadian Foursomes in the morning and Mixed Foursomes in the afternoon.
